In collaboration with World Education Inc./Pamoja Tuwalee and the Siha District Council, NAFGEM is implementing a program to identify and support children in living in the most vulnerable conditions. The program targets 4144 children in 39 villages, some of which practice FGM, child marriage and other types of violence against children. Communities and families are mobilized to explore the ways in which local resources can support those classified as Most Vulnerable Children (MVC). NAFGEM also collaborates with the local government to ensure the MVC are identified, protected and provided with the necessary psychosocial and educational support as well as with appropriate health and nutrition services.
